The primary focus of this class is to make your dog more solid with the skills introduced in The Basics class and introduce new skills for off-leash safety. Allowing your dog to play and explore off-leash should feel great to you and your dog. With the Emergency Recall you will teach your dog to come away from any distraction immediately, without pause. With the Emergency Stay you teach your dog to instantly stop/stay on cue. Teaching your dog to Heel will allow you to walk on crowded sidewalks comfortably with a loose-leash; your dog close by your side. Teaching Go To Your Bed (meaning go lay down on your bed and stay there until you are released) will help ensure your dog understands how to settle and be calm in the house when need be.
